Paris, France - July 2, 2009 – CTSpace, a global provider of document control and project collaboration solutions for the design, engineering and construction of capital-intensive projects, today announced a deal with Aqualia to manage the construction of a $475 million wastewater treatment plant in New Cairo.

Aqualia, part of the FCC Group, is a Spanish utility company focusing on the management, operation and maintenance of public water supplies, sanitation and purification services. The company manages more than 850 towns in the world, serving a population of over 23,000,000 inhabitants. Aqualia has forecast an EUR 860 million turnover for 2007.

A USD 475 million contract to build, own and operate a 250,000m3/d wastewater treatment plant in New Cairo has been awarded to a partnership between Aqualia and Orascom Construction Industries from Egypt. The 20-year PPP contract includes a 2-year construction period starting in the fourth quarter of 2009. Aqualia chose the CTSpace solution for document management and project collaboration and also to help prepare responses to tender.
