Frankfurt-am-Main, 16 April 2010 – CTSpace announced that IKEA have renewed their contract to use their cloud based application, FusionLive, to facilitate document control and accelerate business processes on their new project in Krakow.
IKEA is expanding its store in Krakow to cover a total area of 27 920 m2, increasing from the current size of 11 884 m2. The investment will see the IKEA store reach two stories high. The ground floor will include a market hall, internal self-service warehouse, cash desk, customer service area, shop, Swedish bistro, entrance hall and a children's corner. On the first floor there will be office space, a restaurant and a section of the exhibition. The new facility will have the latest energy saving equipment installed such as solar water heating, motion sensors and automated lighting control as well as a centralized heating and cooling system. Work on the expansion began in 2009, and will take about 18 months.
