London, March 7, 2007 - CTSpace, the global SaaS business process management and collaboration solution provider, has been selected by Notting Hill Housing, one of the UK's largest providers of affordable housing, to improve efficiencies and drive better collaboration on its £600 million, 3,000 unit property development programme.

CTSpace's technology will be used to store and share documents and designs across the supply chain. This will reduce storage and back-up requirements, reduce travel, print and courier costs, increase productivity, deliver faster turnaround times on requests for information (RFIs) and approvals, aid communication and reduce IT support costs. Having full audit trails will also minimise potential legal disputes.

"Notting Hill Housing prides itself as a top performing G15 housing association, but recent benchmarking studies showed we were becoming more expensive than some other associations," said Shane Dargue, land manager at Notting Hill Housing. "We looked at where we could improve operational costs and productivity, and revising our business processes was a key area that would help. Problem areas included unnecessary replication of information, time wasted searching for information and retrieving files."

The CTSpace solution was selected for its ease of use, functionality, provision for future product development and committed customer support.

"CTSpace gave us all the off-the-shelf functionality we need now and may do for the future in a very user-friendly environment, so there's no need for client configuration and a greater expectation of user buy-in," continued Dargue. "During the evaluation process, CTSpace provided excellent customer care and support and their obvious commitment to the future development of the system and its service to Notting Hill Housing gives us comfort that we're buying into a cutting-edge product with customer support to match."

Notting Hill Housing will roll out the CTSpace solution across three new projects by the end of March and intends to extend its use to manage all programmes of work. The aim is to increase delivery from 500 units per year to 2,000 units, amounting to £600 million of work.

"Notting Hill Housing was challenged with how to share information effectively across the supply chain," said Gert-Jan de Kieviet, managing director, Northern EMEA, CTSpace. "Contractors would even ask why it wasn't using a collaborative solution. Relying on standard FTP and email to communicate made effective collaboration impossible and it became extremely difficult and time-intensive for project managers to find, share and track information on projects. CTSpace's solutions will help Notting Hill Housing achieve its goals and regain its position as one of the most competitive Registered Social Landlords in London."

G15 is a group of 15 London housing associations who meet regularly to discuss housing policies and best practice. All members are annually benchmarked against each other based on performance, criteria for which includes how efficiently they produce housing units versus staff costs.
